Sadly, Indonesia doesn't allow same-sex marriage - as far as I can tell the only place in Asia they could get married is Taiwan (though a few places are considering it). Though Bali is only a few hours flight from Darwin, where they could get married under Australian law . . . but (again, as far as I can tell) that wouldn't be recognised by the Chinese government.

It's always a bit of sadness sitting in the background reading stories like this . . .
