I think the machine translations of the earlier chapters made it harder to notice he thought she was a guy, because I thought he knew she was a girl this whole time. How he didn't notice is beyond me, and I'm having a hard time thinking of how it added to the story. Just feels like a pointless gimmick here.

Unless the translators got it wrong, which I don’t believe, ever since the first chapter he knew she was a girl. So why introduce this dumb trope. (Dumb for this series)

Also Ms Vale is acting like the knowledgeable elder sister when she just said the elder brother taught her everything.

I feel like dropping this series because this chapter feels like the author was told to put in all the tropes which will lead to a run of the mill story. Even the necklace thing comes off as a “MC has romantic feeling for us/me now I am beginning to like MC back too” at least to me.
