Pretty normal, When you go to a private school. Depending on the level it is, by how expensive the monthly/semester is. There are actually these kinds of flexing. Though, it's more of "Where did you go?" "What kind of stuff are you using?" "Nice Car" "Nice House" "Nice district" rather than an all out flexing of all your family's property. But i guess now that i've said this, it's pretty much the same.

Nah bro, at least they are still talking right now. When you disagree with cultivators, they'll shut you up by force. This behavior exists in society, and I don't want to suffer through it again when I read.

You are right though, there is almost always physical violence in recent school type comics (I must say not any school type stuff from china caught my eyes in this way, it's mostly from korea), which makes me think the difference in culture is indeed interesting... haha

Both are good points. I think what also got me about the China thing is the emphasis on having land = prosperity. Which isn't exactly wrong, but dog eat dog world it shows when your family owns property even in manhua is... uh, interesting.

Haha, I personnaly don't blame them for that, since well... It's also like that around me I feel like. Everyone wants to have the bigger size, wheter it be land or salary, even when it's irrelevant to your immediate happiness and even an annoying behaviour, through their education and other factors, they just can't help to flex and bring people down even unintentionally... Well.
