An enjoyable but generic “Hunters” sub-genre manhwa inspired by stories like Solo Leveling that’s heavily carried by the art.

Season 2 has a noticeable change in art direction which makes everything feel more soulless and makes the story’s flaws more glaringly apparent when we’re made to focus on them more in the absence of interesting art and visual character ticks.

Season 1 is worth reading and does an excellent job providing visual comedy and artistic liberties to elevate what, as we know from season 2, is a fairly underwhelming story without such things.

A 6/10 overall but I’d give it 8/10 for how fun season 1 was to read.

Eh, it's just alright, maybe a little below average. The action is kind of mid, the characters (not including mc) are all really bland and seem to only exist to support the protagonist. They don't really feel like they're actual characters with their own goals, struggles and ideals.

Not to mention, the main character is very off-putting when he acts like a twelve year old one minute and then tries to act like a bad ass the next minute. The author apparently can't decide if he wants to make his character the bad ass Demon King of Hell, or if he wants to make him the human that acts like a cute girl and simply wants to eat good food. That'd be a good story to follow, one of a man stuck between two worlds, but it's obvious that following that specific plotline isn't the author's intention. If anything, it really just seems that the off-putting 'man stuck between worlds' feeling is just a byproduct of bad writing.

Who would willing give their phone to a stranger to use? Every time MC try to look evil or in an evil mode, he looks perverted instead instead of badass.
All the characters seem to be willing to help and support him with no independent personality as they are there to make the MC shine. Everything also seems to go well for MC and no one question him or make a big fuss of his rise in rank and blind to his obvious power like it is something normal. Too many plot armour.

In the beginning i loved the mc but his selfishness is raally starting to bother me when it comes to shihoon.
I not like the fact that he forcefully bonded their souls without their consent basically making him a slave
And i dont likw the fact that he’s manipulating shihoon and pressessing back his growth … with other people. Its giving he wants to be the one to control his growth and i really find that to be selfish asf.
