The normal one is a fragment of her soul that is becoming an independent being (a clone if you will). And the batshit crazy one is like that because she sufferered a cultivation deviation and also because she is missing that part of her soul (as far as I know and somewhat understood).

She did say she was one of her three bodies. I think she already destroyed one of the three unless she was stopped in time. I don't think the crazy her can be fixed.
