and you don't stereotype a character's behavior to call out a stereotype.
you are the ones reinforcing the stereotypes. if she was truly a stereotypical character, and you did truly want to call out the author's writing, you would say "she's a stereotypical character."
a character acting "stupid" isn’t a stereotype. you making it about women is.
