Honestly, I really love how this rejection was done. Like, it was rough, but for the past sooooo many chapters I thought Ishikawa was in love with Raidou, and probably gay, so I wasn't sure about the nature of his feelings for Satou beyond platonic.
Then they hit us with that kinda gloomy "maybe being normal is just hard" panel from him and we know before she even confides her feelings that he is not romantically interested in her.
This manga is brilliant and hilarious and heartfelt in so many ways, there is so much positive gay in it, but this chapter highlighted the difficulties too in a few pages that have been lurking under the surface for a while.
Sad this manga will be ending soon, happy it'll be one I'll revisit time and time again
