I kind of like this manga, except for how fucking annoying all the other characters apart from the main team are.

@Blu7 yooo, seen you in a lot of be blue's comments. Love Sakuraba as your pfp. Been really wanting to read ahiru no sora, was thinking of doing so after the anime but now I see that it is faaaaaaaaaaaaar from raws. How far away is this TL from the anime? Wish it was licensed is English.

@kamikoto10

The anime will certainly end at
close to the end of volume 18
. Actually, as you could see now, there were more chapters translated by PMScans but they were available on their website but not here. Now they decided to pass it to another team, so I don't know how it will go now.

Sorry for the late reply but I don't come often here (for not saying "at all" on that topic) as it is full of mainly weird complains of probably masochistic people (I mean if you read more than 100 chapters of a series from which you seem to like nobody, you really have serious issues...).

I am happy and hope that you will still enjoy it ; )

If you are a Haikyuu fan and is looking to fill that sports manga void i genuinely belive this one is the best you would be able to find. Different from Haikyuu this manga isnt so much about the sport itself, but more of a character oriented story. Its not a basketball manga played by highschoolers, but more of a highschool kids manga that got together by playing basketball you fell me? That being said, obviously basketball still is the main focus of the manga and of course you will see the characters playing and training for their upcoming matches. The main appeal this story had for me over others is the fact that a good portion of the manga is shown outside of the basketball court, the characters dont feel contrived and their growth and development is not always specific to sport itself. So if you come here from the anime (I head is not very good) or just stumbled upon this manga, give it a try i promise you wont be disappointed.

It's kind of interesting seeing everyone discover this series after following this when it was coming out. Kind of almost seems like everyone is desperate to find another sports manga to follow since Haikyuu is done.

The series has over 600 chapters so unless they start doing major chapter batch releases this isn't getting done anytime soon. If within our lifetimes lul. Especially if there is ever a official translation, that shit would never get done on their schedule. It would take another 2 decades of releases.(Probably will never happen cause the author is pretty vocal about hating any adaptation of his work, including a translation. He dispissed the anime)

Also not sure why it's not been updated on here unless you aren't with the official Pms team but they are on chapter 199 on the PMSscans website
