I am think a lot would need to happen for Youta to lose the awareness he's gained in the last two chapters. He knows Maiko is a black hole, and likely only saw him as someone she could manipulate. He has zero reason to get back into that situation, and the beginnings of a relationship with this new girl Tsubasa with 0 baggage.

She's probably has baggage, but is not some weird sex cult leader.
