Great interview. I'm not super familiar with Inio's works, but I did watch (and enjoy) Dead Dead Demon's and quite a bit of what he said in this interview I can see reflected in DDD.

It's also interesting hearing the both of them express some level of sympathy for these murderers. I can hardly imagine how deep the loneliness must of ran for some in Tokyo during the 90s.
