Honestly at this point I just need to know what the aging curve for Mikan is going to look like now. Is their dog form static? Do they only age in whatever form they’re in? Are they still stuck with a dog’s life expectancy? I have a feeling we will get zero answers because it’s a gag manga but it’d be nice to know.

It seems like they've had her as a dog for a few years, judging by her presence in onee chans primary school memories, but her human form is a teenager, so the age of the two forms can't be aligned. She'd at least be an adult in dog years. 🤔

Corgis are cute (I don't have one myself though). Also I do sometimes wonder what my own dog thinks of me. Mikan following Hina and having so much affection for her is kinda relatable in the sense that our own dog never seems to want to be apart from my sister (not for very long at least).

And then there's me... (I still love him though, he's a very good boy. My dog and I even have a few odd things in common that I can't help but marvel at).

If the age was numerically the same, her dog form would be super ancient, unless i'm misreading how old she's meant to be as a human.
I choose to believe she's a magical dog with a human lifespan, who will grow older at the same pace as her family

Because it’s an anime artstyle, it’s difficult to tell the difference between characters that are early teens versus late teens unless explicitly told. It’s perfectly reasonable for a dog to be 12-13 years old, but yeah if it were 17-18 I agree it’s unrealistic and probably closer to what you said.
