Aw, didn't expect this but cute

I wonder if Japanese strays genetically are more affectionate I can't ever imagine a stray around here approaching a human (understandably outta caution)

This is just the story of my cat, she's small and white and a former stray that I took in and she's ridiculously needy :thonk:

My cat isn't as pretty as the one in the manga though since she has a missing fang and some scars.

Strays in my country (Thailand) are super affectionate so it might be an asian thing? Like the strays I took in literally won't let me work if they're in the same room as me. They'll jump to my desk and keep rubbing themselves against my hand and keyboard while I try to work on my computer. Actually have to separate them when I need to work.

That sounds nice, my parents aren't fond of cats so they wouldn't have let us have one/i remember mom chasing out one of our apartment when we lived in there but i'd be grateful just for a cat cafe lol

Although maybe it's also "they know humans have food and can cuddle up for attention/snacks" or so
