Considering Miko’s very loud and has the white coat/blue eyed combo, I wonder if she’s a bit deaf.

Sadly, this is exactly what happened with all three of our cats. They were all rescues, but had very obviously raised by people. True feral since birth cats won't demand to be let in the big scary house or cuddle up instantly. So obviously at some point some bastard dumped them. They spent years desperate for affection (and, I'm sure, good food and comfy bed) and sick. Now they're living their best life!

So good for anyone who rescues a needy cat (or dog!) and burn in hell, dumpers.
