Only Yako is not in the original plan IMO. Umimi is introduced early in the story and is connected with both Riku and Takt.
You're right that she was introduced earlier than I remembered, but she was still not even hinted at prior to her introduction. I think it's plausible that the author's original plot only covered 2 volumes, and when it got popular early he decided to create Umimi to lengthen the story and introduce more character conflict.

It's not even certain author actually knows what the big twist is.
I'm convinced he's already lost the plot himself and he's just stumbling from chapter to chapter, while being dumbstruck himself how much brainrot he can produce 😶

Do you guys think the author purposely made the supposed main girl left cus they were getting so much flak for the shitty story?

I hope it stays that way as the story transitions and he falls inlove with the new girl, all signalling the change

THE FUCK YOU MEAN WE ARE ONLY HALFWAY
It means the Mangaka has to pay for a very expensive timeshare somewhere in Thailand, thus they're going to stretch this longer than Reed Richards. Expect even more stupefying plot twists which are never explained/closed.

Is it just me or did Yako get a buff in certain places? Not that I'm complaining. That only makes her even better than she already is to.

So Yako's actually handing the win over to Umimi? How selfless of her, unlike her rivals. She's almost like a goddess in this manga with not-so-good girls, although to be fair the bar is very low and it's easy to be better than Shizuku or Umimi.

I hate to say this, but it seems like this fanservice chapter is just another distraction in the grand scheme of things while we keep waiting forever for the other shoe to drop. Then Shizuku comes back and another mystery-baiting cycle begins. Or at least that's how I expect it to go.

How sad or funny would it be if there's actually no mystery waiting, and the author is just painting himself further into a corner while he continues to think of what to reveal? I hope that's not the case though, that would be the worst. That actually happened to a mystery manga I read long ago, and it still has a bad taste in my mouth.

I have no idea why but shizuku gives me Stepan Trofimovich vibes. Anyways I have no idea what the author is cooking, but there is no way the author can clear the allegations of her being a bitch

I am actually so curious to see what the fuck was this super serious thing that: a) Makes Shizuku act like an absolute slut b) Betray the obvious mutual romantic feelings she and MC have and get with Takt c) Force herself to be with Takt with no alternative solution d) Convince a rapist to back out from raping her (but somehow still confirm being okay getting railed by the rapist after her "plan" came to fruition)

I am actually glad the MC refused to fuck her at the hotel. To me that showed some character. Like "fuck you and your mysterious issues. If you don't trust me enough to tell me the whole truth then my zippers are sealed"

This chapter really describes the French quote "Quand le chat n'est pas là, les souris dansent" (When the cat is not here, the mice dance)
Funny cause the same proverb exists in Greece:

"Όταν λείπει η γάτα, χορεύουν τα ποντίκια"

which translates exactly how you said. I always thought this was a Greek proverb lol

The way this author renders skin makes the girls look like they are 75 years old. So wrinkly.

I've always heard "When the cat's away, the mice will play." Means the same.

Your last sentence reminded me of the father in My Big Fat Greek Wedding (watch it if you haven't). Everything came from the Greek.

"Do you want to see my outfit?"

Initially he wants to say yes, but then he has flashbacks of spending time with Takt and runs away again.
