reading this i came to the realization that i really dont give a shit about mahjong, i got into it thinking it had more to offer than mahjong match after mahjong match and it turns out it didnt, i dropped it at chapter 31, i wasnt going to learn mahjong rules in order to understand why X o Y move was so clever or so amazing, and even if i did enjoy mahjong i think i couldnt have bear the other characters going on and on and on about how amazing, unique, special, tough, incredible akagi is, nothing like a gary stu to take away all the tension from a match, and that coupled with the really mediocre illustrations an elementary school kid could pull off was enough to kill my interest.
