the gremlin...... feel like there's been even more chibi Akane drawings since the timeskip and this chapter especially had a lot of them lol, this is far from a complaint from me tho, love it

the bit about freedom and being trapped was nice too, I'm excited to see how Akane tackles such a rigid approach to storytelling after her Major Breakthrough point was her realizing she could go wild in her stories

and Hikaru! Karashi's a joy but I'm glad we're gonna be linking up with Hikaru first, I really wanna see how her style's evolved after the timeskip, and a followup to their last conversation at a competition would be Fantastic (they are still 1-1 in competitions right now lol, even if Hikaru didn't consider it total victory the second time around). Hoping for big things from this arc lol, I'm already enjoying the setup
