I hate this shonen trope of allowing obviously evil (and fucking annoying) enemies to survive (especially if they're ikemen/bishonen; look at that v3 cover art! he's got a stereotypical fuccboi fishnet half-shirt).

I hope Shaman-Daddy just offs him (or imprisons him so that he's out of the story for actually-good/forever) for obviously attempted murder; that's well within his purview as head of their shaman house. (But no, likely he's going to let him live and run free for politics or "because he's so talented/strong" or other outright bullshit.)

Unlike the prior comments in glad he didn't yeet the guy, while it is an annoying shonen trope, this manga here has built itself to fit that trope, unlike previous shounens where that's never stablished, here his nature has been a thing since page 1

That said, the father def needs to yeet him in some way to make sense

Am I the only one that sees a path of redemption, or at least reaching a place of complacency, for that scumbag? Like he's definitely not dying yet, if anything he needs to be kept alive so that our MC can beat him at full power and not just "oh he's hurt and doesn't want to fight anymore".

So you are dropping the series after it got axed?
I dislike when people do that, it really feels like scanlators never cared about the series as it is in the first place and just wanted to be a part of a huge title in the future. Focusing on potential rather than present state of things.
