Soo-Won and Kye-Sook have decent plots. They are separating Yona from the dragons, and are sort of tying the dragons to the current kingdom and thus the king. In a sense it's nothing peculiar, almost akin to getting entangled in bureaucracy. It's something, however, they should be extremely careful about because before they know it, they can become tools for the system. They shouldn't accept any titles or nominations from the king. They should decide for themselves, 100%, what they will do, and not just be choosing from things presented to them by others. It's the only way to maintain their independence. Naturally they should start with this so called festival by declining. Obviously they should also leave the castle, but it seems like Yona is too afraid by her own imagination to make the decision. On the other hand, maybe this series is nearing the end and thus they need to be there. If Yona wants to replace the king, she might need to make herself and the dragons still more well known.
