getting yuri vibes from this series
It's always been there. Erika has the most obvious crush on Akebi, and Akebi has made more than a few of her classmates blush with her high energy and cheerful personality. But it's really ramped up since the start of the school play arc.
Ch. 56 & 57 alone have some intense moments between Erika and Akebi.

She can't act? with that ability to improvise and turn any event into the climax of a movie I think you'll be fine lol
It's not really that. She can't play the love struck idol opposed to the genius pianist because she, and her pianist, are "interested" on the other girl guitar/singing act. Basically is just Akebi and Erika being themselves.

I, for one, hope we get a season 2 after the play arc is complete. I want to see the Tokyo arc and the play animated.

How often does this manga get released in Japan? Also, how far behind the raws are the scanlatons?

When the author feels like it, like One Punch Man and Made in Abyss. Caught up, but a new chapter is coming on Friday.

There is indeed a noticeable yuri bait in the manga, but lol, even with that in mind, referring to "they are blushing" is just ridiculous. It seems like people are so obsessed with this ridiculous argument that they keep referring to it even when there are much more interesting yuri shipping points in the manga.

This manga has never been a romance in the first place and doesn't need to have any love interests at all. I understand that shippers can't think of anything else, but not everything has to be romantic. With your logic, any shonen without romance is BL because there are no female love interests. Secondly, who told you that bait can't use subtext as a tool (actually most bait is subtext because it teases people with the idea of ships and interpretations), or that subtext can be just the usual homoerotic metaphor for platonic things like in many works before and after this manga (as many of the same shonens do to emphasize nakama power and attract fujoshi)? Hibike Euphonium literally used homoerotic subtext and metaphors to emphasize the importance and power of Kumiko and Reina's platonic friendship.

All this doesn't mean there can't be actual romantic development or subplots in manga, just learn to separate the wheat from the chaff.
