The explanation at the end is real interesting. I wonder if hiragana Ako is going to end up being both of them put back together?

If both Ako and Yamashiro end up re-combined and still in a relationship with Bambi by the end, that would be a nice ending, although I still hope all the side characters can get their side stories resolved too.

I'm confused maybe I forgot something in the story, why was torii so abrupt about seemingly randomly asking Bambi to kiss her?

I'm not 100% sure why, but she's teased him and showed interest in the past. If you re-read chapter 28, you might see some of the early hints.

I might be reading too much into it, but when she said "You got a problem? Bambi's only a friend, right? It's none of your business if I get close to him, right? Ako, don't you have Sukuwa-kun as your boyfriend?" (Back in chapter 28) I got the impression that she was trying to get back at Ako for Sukuwa, by trying to get between Ako and Bambi. And this chapter certainly felt like an extension of that.

@Ashez42 judging by her reaction when she saw sukuwa and when bambi questioned her about it, she still likes sukuwa and is frustrated by it. while she has said that she's interested in bambi, she's probably just forcing herself to like him instead of sukuwa and she thinks kissing him would do the trick or it would at least help her forget sukuwa

It's really interesting to note here that Bambi really emphasizes that the one he likes is the spirit Ako. I'm still going with my theory that if ever Ako and Yamashiro-san do go back as one person, Bambi's gonna be conflicted. But, if Ako in the title was written in hiragana and if hiragana Ako really meant the two of them as one person, then maybe, just maybe, Bambi will be alright with spirit Ako going back to Yamashiro.

Also, I just wanted to point out.. when Ako wondered why she woke up in the bed and not the couch, did Bambi carry her there? If so, dang that's cute (

Anyways, thanks for the chapter!!! I read the raws a few weeks back and I was really waiting for this chapter!

thank you for the TL notes those were awesome! thats the kindnof stuff i like to learn about and see the intricacies of the japanese language, especially since you cant get that kind of specification in english without just not saying the name at all. that was an awesome tidbit of knowing how they refer to eachother.

I always thought that the Ako in the title refers to the spirit-Ako so I thought she was the heroine. Now that I know it's ambiguous.... FFFFFF idk what to feel

I feel like Torii asking for a kiss just shows she doesn't like Bambi as much but she is desperately trying to move on from her unrequited love
