Everyone keeps dissing the new queen, but her reaction is the normal one. Not like other manga where they just suddenly become all strong and everything. Don't forget that she was only just an ordinary college student. And it hasn't been long since she came to this world. I like how the mangaka isn't making the new Queen be all badass out of nowhere. To be honest, Mari has been doing good up until now.

I don't know about you guys, but if I saw seven heads of young girl being presented on plates, I would have either A) Ran away while screaming or B) Passed out dead!

I feel like every chapter I read of this manga was supposed to be a whole 10 chapter arc, but it does it all within one chapter, dragging you screaming through a roller coaster at 300mph.

within 6 chapters she has accepted her death, completed her harem, learned to become a queen, learned all the history pertaining to the role, been possessed by the old queen, romanced a bitter enemy, then had essentially a shotgun wedding for the country. All leading up to being presented the heads of 7 women from a man who she's already turned down..... at her wedding.
