Thanks so much for picking this up. I was baffled that no-one picked it up because the one-shot was definitely one of the best ones in the villainess anthology series.

EEEY THE SERIALIZATION OF THE BEST ONESHOTS IN THAT ANTHOLOGY! Like admittedly the bar isn't that high. By the second volume of the anthology, I could stand reading most of them anymore. But this was definitely still a step above.

That being said, apparently there's 5 volumes out right now? I am very concerned about whether they can keep up the momentum... like the sequel one shots were still great but those are still one shots, vs an entire serialization. Different pacing and how they convey information. Hell, this first chapter is just the one shot and while I appreciate that it concisely summarizes the premise and skips all the stuff we can figure happened cause of other villainess type stories, they can't keep doing that for five volumes worth of it. So im excited to see what they do
