Honestly, I think baldness is an over-hyped thing; men just get into a tizzy over it because it's a sign they're aging and no longer young like they once were.
Unless you do comb-over, or some other stupid hair style, your hair will look fine (though what looks good will definitely be more limited than it once was, with most long hair options being completely out of the picture).

You've got a point re: real human beings, but go back and look at this dude for a sec. The back of his head is definitely a circle with hair drawn on top. If he goes bald he'll look like this:
