i agree wholeheartedly. you get the impression that lou... only has an impression of celeste from when they were children. he's been abroad and hasn't seen her grown up at all, so he made many assumptions about her married life based on rumors and hearsay. it's just gonna be THAT more enjoyable when he gets slapped in the face later down the line because of it!Lou is really pissing me off. Just because you love Celeste doesn’t mean you get to condemn the people she built a life with.
Kinda feels like he wants Luka to suffer for she sin of being the prime minster’s child or worse, the child of a man aside from him.
Is the Celeste who held such pride and strength so fragile that she’d buckle under others. Her ex fiancé and his side piece aside, she has proven that her love is fierce and genuine and those who try against it will pay.
This whole arc is good but vexing simultaneously.
considering the OG plot had her killed long before she would have likely fallen for him...Ahaha, glad to see that deep down, even the og villainess eventually likely would have fallen for her husband
The brother being the culprit behind the memory loss is simply a red herring. In this chapter, by accusing the prime minister of brainwashing, he ousted himself as someone who's projecting. Clearly, he's much more of an hypocrite than you think. For a guy espousing ideals of justice, isn't it cruel of him to try and persuade a mother to NOT go visit her sickly child even if her memories of him and her big boi of an old hubby are floozy?
