If this is the first day of the start of the first game, the heroines aren't actually with the hero so it isn't stealing them. Though I bet they just ignored that the girls always wanted Zenon and went for the friend for other reasons.

Rampant misunderstandings is the laziest form of writing, I swear. I just see it so much that it's just so dang boring to me.

I think I'm siding with NTR man. He's hardworking, handsome, and rich. In the OG story, I wouldn't be surprised if half the heroines threw themselves at him after seeing how better he is compared to protag.

So... is this going to be one of those where the "hero" is actually bad, or also a reincarnated guy that just wants to have a harem and forgets the whole "sealing the demon" thing?.

So, that would be quite the weird decision for a game, like... the first one does "never seen before things" like romancing the girls and... having a harem... truly revolutionary.

...BUT, then for the second game they said "lets cuckold the hero of the first one and destroy the world in the end". Is like the whole team did not wanted to continue with a profitable franchise so they just burn it all down... got to praise them if they just wanted to stop doing stuff for that IP, like... "are they going to make a second anime for this?!", "another line of figures!?", "just how many doujinshis can they make with the same f-ing characters?!", all things that IRL would be appreciated, here, drove the whole team to self destruction.

Like... they'll cheat on him, it just won't be with Zenon, doesn't change the fact they're still cheaters.

He should instead be a wingman and help him find a char that isn't one of the cheating heroines. Now that'd be a real pure love fanatic move.

Well... it wouldn't matter if he did or didn't try to steal them... they still went to him. Making them not worth having.

Loyalty is rewarded, Traitors should die, in fiction... unless treason of course, for other forms just social death, like in japan when they catch someone cheating, they're shunned... well outside of tokyo and kyoto, they've become too westernized and cheating is somewhat normal there sadly. (it's why you can get surveys with cheating results of 20-40%, it isn't japan as a whole, just that the survey is done in tokyo and/or kyoto normally).
