The novel is trash. Every girl offers herself to him AFTER THE FIRST MEETING. Every single one (they're all brainless). The author creates some crazy situations on the fly — like a random boss with a 1% chance of appearing that you can only beat in a new game+ if you have everything you need. And of course, the main character gets through it successfully every time.

The worst ones to lose like this are the ones with potential, and this had potential, like Reincarnated as the Most Hated Villain. I wanted more of the hero bashing.

Since not only is the Manga done, but it's likely the LN is never going to even reach the WN, here's spoilers for the rest of the story.

  • MC Meets the Japanese girl who has split up from the OG MC's party because he got tramautized by the starter dungeon in a different way compared to the game and is now trying to help everyone level up, rather than focusing on being the best.
  • Girl wanted to grow stronger to avenge her family and recover their secret sword arts. Turns out all the advanced late game techs the MC knows are just those secret sword arts (Stuff like the optimal way to parry and riposite in the battle system and how to cancel cooldowns and stuff). So third girl joins. She's the last of the "main" girls to join MC.
  • MC manages to knock some sense into OG MC and they grow less antagonistic, though still big rivals.
  • There's a big event where they end up adhoc teaming up with OG MC to defeat one of the big generals of the Demon Lord way earlier than expected, all because MC killed the boss in the starter dungeon when he should have lived. Turns out that big general is also the one who killed the japanese girl's family.
  • MC ends up facing off against his father early. Manages to kill him using various tricks. Turns out father and the whole evil stuff is all an act. The father acts as the face of evil and criminals in the kingdom to keep everything under control while still reporting directly to the King. The father being abusive to MC was just his way to preparing MC for the role. MC doesn't particularly agree with this, but he understands the logic and accepts the position as the new head of the Kingdom's underworld, though doing it his way rather than his father's way.
  • Also saint girl ends up being declared MC's official fiance, turns out her father is one of the few noble's who knows the deal with MC's family so he's not put off by MC's reputation.
  • Now with the father dealt with and the MC in charge, they have lots of sex (really not joking)
  • MC unintentionally saves OG MC's little sister during one of his underworld raids, effectively saving a bunch of captured people destined to be sold off as slaves, but painted as just criminals kicking out foreign criminals who where on their turf and stuff like that. He doesn't realize this until later though. He realizes this actually links to the backstory in that completely separate strategy game where the Oni girl is from, still doesn't know why they are linked.
  • Now with his harem, his position and power and OG MC well on the way to completing the game normally, complete with a bunch of 2nd year heroines filling up the spots he unintentionally stole, all is well. So he decides to head to a desert nation to try and grab some other combat power and allies, even if OG MC is the main way to defeat the demons, he's not going to just sit back and he's going to try and find his own way to beat the demons as a backup.
  • It's basically a desert side story, with new heroines and all. But the biggest part here is he ends up defeating a follower of the Old Evil Gods, these gods don't exist in the game.
  • He finally gets to talk with the goddess that was responsible for sending him into this world. Turns out the goddess also was a fan of the game, and like the MC, hated the cuckolding 2nd MC, so she reshaped this world to match the game, filling in blanks where needed, hence the unrelated strategy game, and placed the MC in this role as he understood her feelings on the 2nd MC. But those old gods were gods from before she shaped this world. As the MC is the only one other than the goddess that can differentiate between the game story and things happening in this world naturally from before, he's going to have to deal with these if they come up again.
  • Comes back to the huge reveal that OG MC is declared dead. Turns out he died during an invasion event, because they killed general earlier, this invasion was far more intense than in the game and OG MC is MIA, having fallen into a massive dungeon with another general.
  • MC meets up with OG MC's little sister again, this time she is desperate to try and find her big brother. MC realizes little sister has the same unique skill as the OG MC and thus can serve as a backup MC. Decides to train her as his backup plan and go to look for OG MC in the dungeon since he's sure he survived.
  • Turns out they were trying to turn OG MC into a demon and they succeeded, he ends up flying away.
  • Now the last heroine who was with the OG MC gets desperate for MC to do anything he can to save him. He's not sure, but decides to go into a dungeon hidden in the Royal castle itself to try and get some stuff at the bottom that may help. He quickly gets permission for it given the situation.
  • WN stops updating mid way through this dungeon. No updates done for years. LN also is taking so long that I'm convinced it's basically dead too and isn't even half way through the WN.

Your summary of the upcoming arcs has scratched a deep and annoyingly persistent itch of mine. I’m genuinely grateful for the effort. Do keep being great, my good sir.
