Can't wait for this to be translated, need something to fill the void that Atsumare! left behind.

If this was set in America the premise would instead be about how your average cop is way more evil than a literal devil.

Bland, boring, unfunny, and basic bitch art style that is cute with very little substance. It's garbage like this that is one of the main reasons why I hate episodic stories. This is bottom of the barrel garbage compared to something in the same genre, like Debby the Corsifa and A Scary Boss, But From Now on She's Going to Be Happier and Happier.

Both Debby and Scary Happy Boss are drawn way better, have much better comedic timing where the comedy is actually funny, and--at least for the latter--shows character growth in way less pages. Debby is one of those rare gag manga that's actually funny.

This is straight up garbage trying to capitalize on "comedy" with possible "warm and fuzzies" feelings that is superficial and fake. I'd betcha a 5er that the artist wouldn't be able to handle any sort of constructive criticism like most artists now-a-days can't do (and I know a LOT of Japanese artists, let alone Westerners, who fall apart at even the slightest hint of criticism; and a fair few of the Japanese artists are ones that I had a lot of respect for before I saw them post warnings about deleting negative comments because it hurts their feelings, the poor babies).

To each their taste, but I guess you're not familiar with Anbe Masahiro.
Yes it's light hearted and most of the comic sense is pretty japanese and thus might not hit westerners the same, it just means it's not made for you.
Also if he keeps the same formula as the 2 bangers he's done since 2007, we're headed towards 300-400 chapters over a few years bud, so of course the characters won't get developped much in the 10 introductory ones.
Overall you have quite the childlike behaviour, keep it up man, makes your opinions so much more serious.

I will admit im not reading this just because im not into lovey datey stuff (also because I wanna go watch Adventure Time, all of it), but I just finished Invasion Squid Girl and I have a gut feeling the creator has a thing for hot policewoman 😭
