Certainly, but I'd usually have expected Akuno would instantly be turned to cinders by putting on those bangles. What was it? Contains power of the divine and grants various blessings. Ouch... those things are pretty much holy relics and a demon wearing them would usually take significant damage just from touching them.

Is it a world where the demon side doesn't have their own (demonic) gods, perhaps gods that the human side would consider evil? Perhaps such don't exist because otherwise Akuno would have surely directed her prayer toward such a deity.
