Would love her demon form retain some human feature so not feel disconnected persona wise, but this probably design by author to make it seem more authentic if MC tolerate her demon form later.

I like that she went, "I'm done," for a relatively minor reason.

How to put this, I feel like people who would double or triple down on a deal like this and only maybe realize the error of their ways when things got extremely bad are sort of over-represented in fictional stories. Which makes sense because that kind of person is going to raise the stakes a lot higher, but also... It feels a lot more real to see a character go, "wait I wasn't expecting someone to threaten to kill me, I'm not that invested in this, this sucks."
