2 different natures, one thirsty for essence MC, other one tsundere type
Reminds me of how in persona 3 reload you have to apologize to this girl for saving her from three guys attempting to beat her up and steal her purse in order to advance the social link, because she said she didn't need your help. I really hated that girl. Red hair girl is 1000x better.Girl overreacts, berates and blames him, knows she's in the wrong. Only tries to apologize after he does something nice to her, instead of apologizing, gets horny and instead of just saying I'm Sorry, assaults him, finally stops after she gets off, ends up getting the guy to apologize first before then apologizing herself, completing the loop that as per societal standards establishes that he did something wrong first through his apology being first.
Yeah I know that outside of the tsundere shtick there's more to this, but it is funny when you summarize the events chronologically. All in all, you could probably replace everything I said with the following.
I haven't played Persona 3, FES, Portable in ages, haven't yet touched Reload. But I'm going to guess that it's Yukari. And that's despite the fact that they rewrote a lot of her character to make her less of a bitch.Reminds me of how in persona 3 reload you have to apologize to this girl for saving her from three guys attempting to beat her up and steal her purse in order to advance the social link, because she said she didn't need your help. You hit the target dead center with that one, unlike Yukari. Yeah it's her.I haven't played Persona 3, FES, Portable in ages, haven't yet touched Reload. But I'm going to guess that it's Yukari. And that's despite the fact that they rewrote a lot of her character to make her less of a bitch.
She's the only character I remember who actively seeks trouble, then seeks protection from the trouble she seeks out, effectively trying to avoid having to take responsibility for her action. No clue how she is in her toned down version in Reload, but they likely still have to follow most of the same script so even if her tongue isn't as sharp, her actions are still likely going to reek of reckless hypocrisy.
Just going to do a small rant since I just remembered my time playing Persona 3.You hit the target dead center with that one, unlike Yukari. Yeah it's her.
Also don't worry, she's still firing off those sharp arrows of hers- and by that I mean insulting everyone (especially Junpei), acting like all of her problems are other people's faults, and then acting like she's the nicest person on the team.
Haven't played the dlc yet due to lack of monies, but that just reminded me of how poorly she treated Aigis when they first met (and throughout the game) just because she's a robot. I really wish there was a dialogue option where you could tell Yukari to get out of your room when she starts scolding Aigis for being in there. I mean seriously, IT'S MY ROOM, what is she doing saying who can and cannot enter into it!?!Just going to do a small rant since I just remembered my time playing Persona 3.
Playing the OG P3 where you only had the AI for your allies was an incidental effect of gameplay reinforcing personality.
Yukari is a heavily unreliable character in combat. While she has the best healing skills, her ability of using it is unreliable, she only mass heals in the worst of circumstances, where even if half the team is under 50% HP, it's still a flip coin if she mass heals. And early on her healing is actually outpaced by Junpei funny enough.
Junpei has access to healing items early on, including status ailment healing items. He actually clutch saved me from the Charmed status effect enough time, and his simple move set makes him a bedrock and reliable partner, further showcasing how straightforward and simple he is, but also how much of a Bro he is.
So while Junpei is an immature Teenage Boy at first, when the going gets tough, he bunkers down and actually helps out. Yukari flounders around in combat. That was what the AI controlled allies was showcasing me in my hundreds of hours of gameplay and experimenting with the AI.
So add the gameplay element where Yukari was unreliable, and where her healing was better handled by the MC or the other single-healer focused characters, it didn't provide much assistance in bettering her in my eyes.
Then an additional bit of gameplay element in the dating sim part. To even begin her Social Link and actually befriend her, you need maximum Charm. So adding to that, to actually become more than just brothers in arms, but actually engage in a personal relationship with her, you need the most superficial statistic at maximum.
This bit of gameplay element ended up showcasing another part of her personality, similar to those stories you hear of girls who go "I'll only consider dating you if you're 6 feet tall with a 150k salary and etc etc". You get that first impression that really sucks. The other two max stat social links give a very different opinion. Fuuka requiring max courage is because of the hurdle to take the first step into trying to assist her in improving herself. So the hurdle isn't her, it's you.
And Mitsuru, she requires excellence out of you, she's an elite who is also the de facto shadow leader and main supplier of the entire group. Her family literally owns your organization. Though you are named the active leader, she still lives in her own world due to the responsibility and status she was born into. She's not judging you from a superficial reason like your Charm, unlike Yukari. She's judging you on how skilled you are and always has. She's also the character who keeps rewarding you if you perform with excellence, which is ultimately someone pushing you to strive to better yourself too.
So by that setup of the context for the engagement of all three max stat social links, Yukari also ends up drawing the short straw and making herself out to be the most vapid character.
The funniest thing was when The Answer came out and people were whining about how this wasn't their Yukari, I was just wanting to ask them if they even paid attention to who Yukari was to begin with.
You are describing Mitsuru. This bit of gameplay element ended up showcasing another part of her personality, similar to those stories you hear of girls who go "I'll only consider dating you if you're 6 feet tall with a 150k salary and etc etc".
Mitsuru literally dates you despite being a regular height Japanese MC and being a high school student who at most just takes minimum wage jobs. If anything, you introduce her into living a regular ass life just eating burgers at the local McD for your date and making her appreciate the calm life of a regular person. She is quite literally the polar opposite. She just requires you to be smart and capable as a person, so really she's primarily meritocracy based and isn't particularly uppity about superficial standards or wanting someone to be more financially successful than her as money is not an object of desire or value for her.You are describing Mitsuru.
Watching people crashout over not getting any info on how big a drawing's tits are, is hilarious to me 💀"HEIGHT: 160 cm" Bruh again nobody cares give us the real SPECS![]()
You've made it clear that you are sensitive about the topic of tits for some reason, sorry for any distress my irresponsible comment might have caused. Perhaps speaking with a therapist could offer some clarity on the cause of your mammophobia.Watching people crashout over not getting any info on how big a drawing's tits are, is hilarious to me 💀
