The thing is, none of these have answered the dilemma of the clone actually being the same person as the one who dies. Just inheriting memories, or first-person experiences, does not mean you're the same. That person is dead. His consciousness didn't get transferred. The clone is just someone who has enough memories to convince himself, and others, that he's indeed who he thinks he is.

It apparently doesn't matter to them, and if none of the manga (the text) questions it, only us as the audience can do it.

The girl from the first arc is clearly conscious of this.

There's a very clear "Yes. He's Shou. But it's a different, if almost identical one."
