I am thankful of Oshimi Shuzo sensei for Aku no Hana. It was one of the best emotionally driven manga I read and that feeling have hardly been replicated by any other manga I have read. I felt sadness, cringe, anger, loss of hope and happiness all in one manga.

And reading this, it looks like part of the success comes from sharing the story with his experiences. Again, I am thankful to Oshimi sensei for giving us such an amazing manga.

By any chance anyone came to read this and haven't read the actual manga. You have not been spoiled of anything major, the manga is definitely worth experiencing if you are fine with psychological drama!

Oshimi-sensei has a wife and kid? I thought that "Welcome back, Alice" was his thinly veiled treatise on being not heteronormative. Maybe he's the classic kind of LGBTQ, the kind that has a heteronormative family his main and has a lifestyle for his alt. Maybe I'm reading too much into his stuff, who knows.
