Presenting her beauty from her husband's perspective is fine, showing he still sees her as his beautiful wife.
But the way her best friend'd assets are angled from behind and close to her lips?! The artist must be following little or none of the author's scene direction!

I also think she's a sociopath, and doesn't actually understand right from wrong, so she doesn't really understand what will or won't turn her daughter against her.

That's usually the case with regression stories like this. Protagonists don't usually "understand" what they did wrong so they just do the opposite instead. This one however is little too on the nose and MC could use a little more "humanization" so to speak. She is acting like a robot.
