I can't help but wonder why Sylvie and the others in the saintess faction don't try to keep Anna from associating too much with Elaine. It almost looks like Anna is left to her own devices. I suppose Sylvie, being such a weak saintess, is always travelling and working so much she has no time to monitor Anna too closely, while Olga the old witch is too busy scheming and beating up servants to bother with it. Such half-assed villains if this is the case. Alternatively they might be doing this on purpose. Perhaps they hope Elaine will be the trigger to allow Anna to manifest her saintess power.
