Ok so...they want money for their work translating...but it's "mangadex" that gets attacked when their work gets taken down. And Alpha Manga is the good guy because they want payment for their licensed work, but you're defending them on a pirating website.

fansubbing/scanlating is not supposed to be profitable in the first place, otherwise it's stealing, you are further trample over original author's value by paywalling pirated stuff instead of spreading it


fansub and scans contribute a lot in gathering weebs outside japan so officials often look other way for its proven potential profit, they will act if the profit is at risk, that's why it's a common practice for fansub/scans to NOT paywalling


that's what MangaDex is in the first place, money is not mandatory, nor it should ever, if you want to be a j[omitted] that your every action should be monetised, go host your own sites and don't try to drag mangadex as collateral damage, alternatively you can count on people's goodwill and ask for donation instead of HOSTING A SYSTEMATIC PAYWALL SITE


even after all that, yes, fansub/scans and MangaDex is still part of the grey to black spectrum of legal and moral which understandably they do want to wash it as much as possible, that's why they hosted LICENSEE TEASER (clearly marked too)
