Honestly this is definitely one of the better reincarnated as the villain stories, most of the time they just become the unironic hero but this time he still commits the violence that turns people against him and it is understandable that a noble house that's involved in grey zone operations would be treated with suspicion and thought of negatively, the different parts of the story fit together well without taking away the main reason I would want to see a story about someone being reincarnated as a villain.

It's been a while since I've read the source material, but it seems like the webnovel last updated Jan 2025, this seems to be the end of the second arc of it (there is more after), so part of it is the pacing probably not pulling in enough people or them not wanting to wait, Volume 3 of the LN apparently was last year Jan too, I think it is a case of either the writer is slower (this includes writer's block) than the series or they adapted it to manga/LN too soon.
