It makes sense. Kids are at their core an empty slate. Albeit one with some traces of inherent values. But regardless of those values, they still can be shaped by their living condition and the people around them. So they are pretty malleable. That's why they are dangerous. And that is why this world of ours right now is not a good place to raise a kid in. Parents gotta be vigilant and wise if they want their children to grow up to be a good person in the future. Teach them goodness, while making sure that the kids know that evil still exists. Allow them to understand both good and evil, as well as the complexities of what makes humans humans. It's a mighty difficult task. Which is why there are a lot of shitty people in this world. Me included.

Adults are the product of their environment while growing up. True there is some sense of a preset personality and mentality at birth, but it is greatly shaped by their living conditions, education, and their interactions with those around them.

As the saying goes, it takes a community to raise a child. The good, the bad, failures and success. We are all products of our past, and should never forget to prepare the younger generations for the future.

Idk m8 I got pretty much left to my own devices for my entire youth and I turned out ok. You figure things out socially as you go. Think it's probably not that complicated, as long as you're not mean to kids ur good lol. It's normal part of creating a positive social space for everyone right, not just kids

Yeah for sure, I just reacted on the notion the whole "parent molding children" bit because I've seen some cases where parents get a bit... Too molding. It really does take a village to raise a child, and the sooner a parent can accept that they're only part of the equation the better, because otherwise it's going to evolve into an unhealthy relationship. The verb "molding" here is very uncomfortable for me I guess

Pretty sweet way of growth from MC.
He knew that his sister and his friend would be rather bad people in the possible future, so he taught them to be better.
Only to fail to realise it with the prince (likely from his bias) and nearly did the irreversible.
But thanks to our sunset boy, who ended up making MC realise the situation and what he has done.
