I like how the background story so far, but why sex slave instead of husband-wife or at least a lover ?, this reason alone leave a bit bitter taste for me. I didn't even see romance tag in this manga, am I the only one who think this?

From what we seen so far they seem love and care each other so deeply, unless MC manipulate FL by using his knowledge of the story, but then again many of similar story for example Mobuseka where Leon use his knowledge of the game to his advantage.

But no red flag or anything like that, MC is genuinely feel sorry for her and her future being banished and ended up living miserably, he always help and care to her when she sad, lonely or in a pinch, her upbringing probably turn her into something like that, a typical villainess that need attention and love, and since he's the only one who truly care about her and bring light into her life, that love turn into twisted obsession and wanted herself to become his sex slave.
