Would like it, if someone could do them at some point, I'm not fond of unfinished business.

The previous version started-out well enough, but then went very wrong. It was retconning after just a few chapters, and then tossing-in elements as if at random.

This chapter starts down the same initial path; if the same retcon is introduced, then the author is an idiot. But maybe instead better use will be made of the elements introduced so far.

They jammed in like 5 chapters from the old manga into one chapter. It just feels rushed from no reason.

If they're trying to get to the main plot of the story, why not just continue from the previous version?

Better than a 5-page review tho. At least this way, old readers get to remember the previous story without reading too much and get used to the new art stlye before entering the main story while new reader gets to know the background story better.

she already said why she refused, if she were to accept the darkness spirit at a young age

she wouldn't have been able to get other spirit's blessings

(information from the other work with basically the same title, because high ranking spirits would contaminate her entire mana reserves, in doing so her mana would be tailored to only dark spirits, but seeing how the past villain was able to use wind magic, it was probably; contract low rank wind spirit in day then at night contract high rank dark spirit. which caused an imbalance in her mana reserves)

Huh, missed this the first time round, and seem to have come late to it's remake. Still find her breakdown on "awakening" kind of overly dramatic. She is early enough in the pre-game that she could completely restructure her entire life to better suit her desires. Which she seems to be doing anyway with great vigor.

On the flip side of that coin she should also take care not to alienate the supposedly powerful dark spirit. Push to hard and it could very easily go find another host and seek revenge on the mean person who rejected it's blessing and gifts.
