'forced to stop translating' bitch no one cares. you can't control the internet. and stop putting this shit as the first page. this comic isn't yours.

Compared to some other scanlators who skip chapters, this is much better.
literally no one does that

Rereading this chapter is rough. Pina's blatant manipulation and lie is egregious. Seeing her face really made me wants to slap her hard.

And Emi being naive and passive is also at fault. Pina already show hostility at their first encountered. That already proved that this bitch were jealous because her "harem boys" were flocking to Remilia, not her. So, try to talk to her is pointless. It's already cleared, Pina wants that harem boys for herself.

Also, Emi's thinking because two of them as a fellow fan of this otome game, that means they can talk it over is completely wrong. The level of love between Emi and Pina were different. Emi loves the characters for who they really are. Pina loves the characters because they showered the Star Maiden with praise and affection.

I'm pretty sure the reason they ask people not to post their stuff on social media is because it can draw attention from publishers, and bring cease and desist orders down on the group's heads. The "forced to stop translating" isn't a "do what we say or we'll cut you off", it's a "don't do things that could risk lawyers shutting us down".

And, while it's true that the manga doesn't belong to them, and Baddies' Asylum doesn't own any legal rights to the content here, the script for this specific translation is very much theirs.
It's part of the reason that MangaDex cracks down so hard on people posting official english (or other language) translations, even if the people posting are just using the script from said translation in pages that have otherwise been manually edited, typeset, etc. like in a normal scanlation: The specific wording of a translation can be, and does get, copyrighted, even independent of the rest of the publication. Fan translations obviously don't hold the same legal rights as somethign that's been officially published, but the spirit of it is still the same: The script of this translation is something that has been created through the time and work of the scanlation team's translators and proofreaders/quality checkers, and it's not unreasonable for them to try to have some say in how people use their work.

As for scanlators skipping chapters, I know of at least one scanlator that does specifically that. I'm pretty sure the name was something like "SSSSS", though I can't remember if that's the name of the user, or if it's the name of the group they post their translations under, and they'll scanlate and post one (sometimes more) chapters of a manga and then move on somewhere else. However, the chapters they post are almost always several chapters ahead of the latest translation, sometimes to the point of being one or two volumes ahead. I think I may have even seen them post chapters on manga that had never received a translation before (not the first chapters, of course, but instead ones that are multiple tens of chapters deep into the story).
They're the most egregious offender that I'm aware of, and the only one that springs to mind at the moment, but the point is that skipping chapters like that isn't unheard of, and it's really annoying when it happens.

I like emi's characters. Just because she's in a noble's body, doesn't mean she's can act & think like cunning noble. She's still a kind commoner she is.
