For some reason I feel like the little sister actually is as innocent as she seems. I really like how Karina is portrayed as an actually villainous villainess. She's not misunderstood or secretly kind, she really is just an evil and self-serving woman, it's great. So refreshing when a villainess manga lets the titular lady actually be villainous. So having Aurora really be the "evil sister" would take away from that.

Alas, in my opinion, we still know nothing to properly judge Karina's actions. Yes the one scene where she seems to hit with her feet someone is certainly villainous, and even as a punishment for a felony may have been quite too harsh and over the top. But even that being a punishment or being a gratuitous action against someone, is quite the difference.
The other scenes in chap 1, show that she may be arrogant and ostentatious, and overall spiteful, but these are no villainous acts per se.
At the same time the Karina we saw in the flashback, wasn't spiteful and arrogant. Did she become warped after countless times she was ignored or penalized because Aurora? Were her parents the ones who instructed her to act in certain ways (that during the times caused her to warp her personality)? Did she become warped while seeing that the prince were preferring her sister? So many questions...
At the same times she didn't lash out to the servant in the beginning scene post exile (as I ould expect for someone that was described to be violent like her), granted her words were certainly harsh, but considering she was exiled to the barren wasteland, honestly who would not be angry?
I'm not even sure what to think about Aurora: In the flashback she is shown to be selfish and spoiled, expressing the will to have Karina's gift for herself. This doesn't imply she is necessarily evil, as honestly this is probably something most of younger sibling population tried to do at least once (not that I know as I'm an only child). The blame here is totally assignable to their parents, that could have multiple better options to deal with, for example:
1) Telling Aurora that they will give a similar gift later, or telling Karina to give the gift to aurora and she would have received a similar gift later. (Instead of giving her a completely unrelated thing "Because it's time you learn for your marriage")
2) Suggesting a compromise to have them playing together or doing a "one day Karina, one day Aurora" kind of deal.

At the same time we don't know if it was Aurora to start contact with the prince, or it was the prince to start contact with, and falling for, Aurora. In the first case, that is a malicious behaviour from Aurora, in the second case the blame should stay completely on the prince.
It's also a fact that someone is sending assassins against her. These seems to be highly trained for the environment, and I doubt someone who is probably sheltered for their entire life like Aurora have contact with them (or even knowledge of their existence, barren isekai/reincarnation/travel to the past insight). I suspect these group should either be controlled by the king, and in case the successor prince may be initiated to the secret already, in case of need, as well having a certain degree of authority over them, or by the head of high ranking noble families, including Karina's own parents. And now unless we later learn Karina did torture people on the brink of death, or literally executed someone for nothing, sending assassins after she got exiled doesn't scream moral superiority, it screams you have something to hide.

Literally runs off into the snowy wilds, no idea where she is, and what? Expects to find a landmark or a pathway in the snowing wasteland? What level of moron is this MC?

except she is shown to be secretly kind there was literally a flashback showing her kindness, it seems more like shes been forced into a role because of those around her. I don't get this desire for some depressing story where we watch a villainess abuse innocent people

when she was a child. There was enough time for her to change for the worse. Now I do agree that judgment is premature, because we know nothing, and there are things that make me quite suspicious (like the assassins), but again until we know more, there aren't enough elements to absolve or condemn her.

The action scenes of this manga are not very interesting so far, but i guess that's not the main dish. I hope the revenge plot gets sidelined a little so we can just ennjoy a furry wife+harvest moon kinda of life in peace for a while.

Thanks for the chapter!
The artist clearly struggles to properly frame and contextualize action. From the confusing angles and distances, to the crossbow guy flexing his weapon like 4? Times…

It’s a mess. :haa:

The art itself is pretty good, but there is a clear lack of experience here. But there are artists that rapidly improved, so who knows, it might get better soon.

I don't think those assassins were sent after her by the prince. She's just delulu of grandeur and thinks everything revolves around her

Better than being eaten yeah? She thought she will be eaten by them. If you got kidnapped by a cannibal tribe, will you stay put even though you don't know where you are waiting for you to potentially get eaten??

Oh honey, sometimes you gotta burn that bridge like it's soaked in the plague. Forget the hoes, love your wolf girl instead
To be fair, "forgetting the hoes" may be harder when quite obviously, the hoes haven't forgotten her yet and are out for her life (if that really is what happened here, but the important part is that that is what she believes)

Kinda hard to feel bad for her, when she is essentially being portrayed as having a shitty personality 🥲..

And she is mad about people judging her unfairly and such, when she literally calls her a human eating beast, just based on something that wannabe prince said
