Eve and Juno are incredibly sweet, still very much enjoying this setup as a way to examine Karina's motivations before she presumably throws the capital into chaos with her plan. Karina was already pretty understandable of course but having an archivist investigate her life by compiling other people's experiences either with her or in similar situations to understand her really goes the extra mile in showing that she's just another human worn down by the system

Evie and Juno's relationship is cute!
I'm not projecting anything but I'm just glad Evie is not the 2nd Love interest here.

The thing is if you are overly invested to a person due to a certain reason, there is a tendency you end up interested in them.

So I was truly glad. Here we can see Juno is confident in their relationship because she understands Evie well.

No jealousy... jealousy will always destroy a relationship.

Love everything about this, especially the various POVs. The build up bas been a treat. It's so nice having questions and having something to make you think. Also, these two are adorable. They're basically wives with a family of kids. I'm really interested in what comes next. The month waits are tough.

Goooooood morning everyone! It's another week of "The Villainess' Bride"!

Interesting that the discussion this week is on "unwanted" and "wanted marriages" as it's still something that Karina's going through. Like Juno points out, Karina wanted the marriage because she was trying to fill the role set out for her. Motivation we see in chapter 1 where she explains why she acted as she did. But she's now in her own "unwanted" marriage with Reshutoka. One that was again thrust upon her without any real consent.

This chapter also highlights the foil aspect of Eve and Juno's relationship when compared to Karina and Reshutoka. Unlike our two protagonists, these two can actually maintain some distance without diminishing their feelings. Karina keenly feels abandoned if left alone for any period of time and Reshutoka is suffocatingly clingy. So it makes me wonder if we'll ever see them properly communicate like these two do.

Also holy crap these two are so married look how they look at each other. And holding hands??? Gay ass girls we love to see in yuri.

In sales news, it appears "The Villainess' Bride" is one of the top selling "Villainess" manga on Manga Republic. So possibly an indicator of how it's doing? But it's hard to say how much of that is foreign sales and how much is what's going on on the ground. If you're interested in supporting, know that it's just 16 US dollars for the manga! International shipping included! Call it a steal, get yourself a Villainess!

Also last note, next half chapter's 3 weeks away so we might be seeing next chapter in about a month and a half.

And so far the story is saying Karina was unreliable narrator.

The key in that 'wanted' part was someone else wanted it (her parents/the royal family, like in Yuno's case the priest/villagers) and Karina being a 'good girl' try to shift her mind to fit the mold.

While this chapter hasn't really answered many long held questions, it does set things up very well. Personally, I just really want to know if the sister is a white lotus. My gut and some context clues say she's not, but we don't see enough of her to say one way or the other. If she is secretly evil, it's pretty cliche, but if she's not, it makes for a much more interesting story.
