People calling the FMC feeble and a damsel in distress...so is she just supposed to get over years of trauma and abuse like its nothing? What we are seeing is realistic responses to a former abuser, people aren't going to be able to stand up for themselves to someone like that so easily by themselves. Not only did Joseph spend years abusing her and making her act like she is an idiot and worthless just for his own ego but now he is threatening to take away on of the few good things she has in her life.

It's funny to see people hate on this manga. I personally just enjoy reading it. I don't care if the story is dumb as long as it's enjoyable and entertaining it's good enough for me. If you're looking for a more serious read this definitely isn't suited for you. Does it have drama? Yes, but it's quite a lighthearted read.
