Just found this series and have only read this section, so I have no idea whether I like it yet or not and this comment is just kind of about isekai in general — for once, I’d like to see an isekai MC who is going to get trucked dodge the truck and make some kind of meta-comment out loud about how “whew, I almost ended up getting stuck in an isekai!”, only to find that they have (for example) gone off the edge of a cliff. It’s too much of a cliché to be played straight all the time after so many series have used it.
