I want to preface this by saying that I personally don't mind the pace of your releases, and I've been enjoying your translation of this series so far.

With that said, I know this might come off as harsh, but I think if you're unable to keep a consistent pace between translations, you might want to consider transferring the series to another group.

I understand that sniping (whether justified or not) is never a good feeling for the original translator, and will always result in negative feelings towards the sniper. But people are impatient, so to prevent further sniping from happening I think it's best to recognize when you unfortunately have to let things go.

All that being said, if you are genuinely invested in doing translation work for the series' that you have going on, then maybe find some like-minded individuals to help speed up your releases.

I also just wanna clarify that I have no deep knowledge of the parties or series involved, and whether or not the sniping was done out of malice or impatience.

I personally don't pay much attention to sniping drama as I prefer to just read manga on this website, but I thought I'd at least try to be helpful when the person translating a manga I like is asking for advice.

thank you so much for the honest feedback, I really do enjoy translating this series, But i was wondering if readers would like me to continue to translate and would read my translations instead of the other group. Since in the other site, I deeply understand the feeling of reading bad.......releases. and regarding with my uploading schedule, I think it's because I dont rotate the uploading of chapters, So i decided to change on how I will update chapters from here on out.

I am actually, i know i am at point at fault for not being fast enough to release chapters. but i think its considered "dropped" if a full year has gone by without updates

Nobody likes philia scans (I guess they sniped it). Their sole reason is to snipe other peoples manga and just paywalling already taken mangas.
They‘re not without reason already banned on mangadex. Paywalling a fan translation btw🫩.
If I were you I’d just upload as normal. Ain’t your fault for what they do. Bunch of cringe people on there

Your "competitor" doesn't have any more right to be the sole provider of an English language translation of a foreign comic book than you do, and they're not even on the site you posted the question on in the first place after having been banned.

Chill out dude, are you part of philia or something, yeah its been a bit longer than usual since an update but they could've just asked Twilight if he was still translating? Its not uncommon to see breaks from fan translators, especially one man teams, people got lives to do anyways. Besides piggy backing off someone's work is scummy as shit, its one thing to translate their own stuff from chapter one but its way worse to not only begin translating where they left off without notification but pay walling further chapters as well.

„they saw you weren‘t uploading“ my guy, Philia scans gives af if it’s taken or not. They‘re the epitome of sniping series, not to mentioned paywalling the whole series. Sure you‘re right, a manga is officially „dropped“ when being not updated after 3 months, but this doesn‘t really apply that good when it’s literally Philia doing it.
And no reason to get mad at something like this… or generalizing every scanlator??😭

I would like you to continue this, even if its slow. the quality is good and its a nice surprise to see a new chapter every so often. a slightly more scheduled approach would be nice (like once a month or something, just a gist).

philia scans snipes stuff all the time, and I'd rather have slow but guaranteed free uploads in high quality. I wouldn't put it past them to upload a bunch, bait people into paying, and then never continue because they got their money already.

just keep us updated and upload translations of manga in general. im personally always happy to see that a group is uploading stuff still even if a manga i dont read. just proves that you're still around and havent forgotten.

in short: please continue, maybe stick to a slow schedule? or just be active on uploading anything. it would be a shame if you dropped this.
