I suspect Christopher's gonna either covertly sabotage the efforts of those fighting the mass outbreak, or is gonna actively try to hurt/murder someone - Therese & Zeal come to mind, but also the Second Prince himself.

The thing I have to wonder about is how much of his own faculties does he still possess - is he effectively being charmed/mind controlled still, or is he just so pissed off and bitter about having everything taken from him that he's now out for vengeance against all the others?
Either way, I'm sure no one will be actually killed (at least among the Named cast), but even so

I don't like it lol

The story will get boring if it goes down the route of: Christopher, still charmed, puts Sylvie in a position where she cannot fight the dark force and Edgar has to save her, romance ensues (at a very slow pace), and Christopher is 'punished'.

I know Christopher is a POS and I do agree with you, but isn't he and Katia still effected by the curse? Doesn't the curse affect ones mental state and judgement?

Oh yes... They exist. Plenty of them.. You can generally spot the varieties in the title.
"Easy Living with my [XYZ] Skill" titles are generally comfy-slow, with not much happening outside some possible Harem Drama.
"I (just) want a Slow Life" anywhere in the title is a self-fullfilling prophecy and guarantee it'll never happen.

Japan, in many ways, is all about Convention, and the title must convey what the Manga/LN is about without surprises for the buyer, if only to increase the chance they'll actually buy it.
They use the title, where here in the West we tend to use the cover art for the same purpose.
