That's true - the antagonistic saint tends to have some kind of "Charm" effect, since that's a way to conceivably make it so that the Prince/Nobles/Everyone Who Shits On The Protagonist has an "out" from being irredeemable scumbags for betraying their stations and obligations to dote on the cute li'l saintess.
If there's none of that here...well, that means the people swayed by her are being shitty, which is both a shift from the norm and puts this on a trajectory that could see real consequences for those who are derelict in their duties toward the state.
Which could be fun to see.

probably why the crown prince so far is shown to not really be interested in the saint romantically

See I think the charm thing is to maintain an, "MC is perfect and everyone loves her," fantasy.

Mainly because a lot of stories don't actually use the "out." They do a weird double dip where they have the charm break and the scumbags go, "noooooo how could we mistreat MC she's so beautiful and perfect nooooo," but also they punish and chastise the scumbags as if they did everything of their own free will.

Really they should drop the charm just have the scumbags not like the protagonist for shitty but real reasons. Like here: lots of shitty dudes don't like women who are obviously more competent than them.

She is honestly just very ignorant and a noble's illegitimate daughter no isekai stuff here she was abused alot growing up with her father only keeping her around to sell her off in marriage since she looked cute but when she got her light power stuff changed and she kinda got brainwashed or bought into the fake preaching of the church. Its not shown much here but she does start to wisen up after getting dressed down by seraphina and after that stupid knight gets dropped she stops getting to close to engaged men as she see she was a fault for it and only hangs around people she is actually friends with.

So yeah she actually starts thinking with her head and understands where the other girls where coming from honestly only one who gets fucked over at the end of this is olva and rightfully so funnyily enough in the last day of school he ask her to marry him and she turns him down because she can even see at this point his abusive words and unfaithfulness makes him trash.

Does the translation team want a finn to give them the right ways to spell these names? Because a couple of them are uhh.. The knight's surname is Mäkeläinen. I can volunteer my time to go through the character list in PMs or something, because this series uses purely finnish names for everyone. Even the MC's name is germanic, which are common names in Finland in history.
I just.. It hurts my soul to see some of the ways kanji/hiragana/katagana probably write these names xD
