I realized something.
This little chapter had more about making "art" than Sora wo Matotte up to now. Instead of just being abstract and saying big words (and a bit pretentious because of it) Sensei's talk was very simple and concrete.
Putting that aside, why is this "art don't put food in the table" trope still so common?
There are so many people working and earning money with "art", by themselves and employed in all sorts of companies.
its definitely possible to make a living as an artist but the aunts kinda not wrong tbh, work is hard to come by for them.
I agree that he is wrong in not studying.
