So he’ll try to possess Albus instead and then Albus will trap him inside his body, preventing him to revive in another body

hmm, so you are saying he will possess albus in the 'last-chance' loop to break the cycle (despite finally having unlocked the counter to it in retaining his memories), such that when albus seizes the chance to loop back in time, he gets ejected from the timeline and deleted from existence - alongside the demon lord! ?

A good idea with a satisfying end, if not for the fact that demon lord can't possess just anyone, and it is always fiona because of some '[blood?]line of vessels' type of trope.

We still don’t know if demon lord can possess anyone or just one blood line/people with a peculiar trait, we just know he always possesses Fiona after her brother dies, so it’s kinda assumed for now.

But yeah even if demon king can possess anyone, it's still weird that he could also possess the hero, the very being born to kill him.

Well I dunno, Albus is an orphan so author can always find a loophole to get around this I guess ? In the end they need to find a way to prevent Fiona to be possessed anyway
