There’s a suspicious lack of information given on the status of both of his parents. His father is probably just some deadbeat not worth mentioning but it seems like the mother is both alive and potentially has a successful career. Given the information he has it seems strange he hasn’t tried to reach out to her but based on last chapter he probably just doesn’t care or doesn’t find it necessary.
